museums in redevelopments of significant heritage precincts for mixed
commercial use by local governments. I am interested in finding out about Australian

is in the process of planning for redevelopment of a significant heritage
precinct around the Claremont Railway Station (built 1886). <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName
w:st="on">Claremont</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Museum</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>
would like to see a purpose built museum/gallery/cultural centre incorporated
into this planning, as well as interpretation of the history of the site
throughout the precinct. I am doing some preliminary research into models for
such developments – and would appreciate any examples of purpose built
museums and galleries included in redevelopments of heritage precincts by local
government. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
