voice to the call for one listserve - frankly until Joy's email I wasn't really
much aware of the other list-serves as I (stupidly it turns out) thought it was
just like AMOL and had decided that people just weren't posting much stuff
anymore. Listserves aren't about just providing information to the masses
- they are about discussion - and currently that is a bit thin on the
ground (except for today of course!). If that discussion is somewhat
contentious then so be it - isn't that what museums are supposed to be about -
questioning the norms and challenging convention?</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
