When I read your dvd request I thought of MOMA (NY) because
they show a lot of new media work.  So I looked at their website 
and this is what I found:
 
MATTERS IN MEDIA ART - a project designed to provide 
guidelines for the care of time based media works of art.
The project was created in 2003.  If you click on the link
to research projects then acquisitions you find information
on the management of time based artworks.
