We have finished our major server consolidation, and CAN now has a great new
look and some exciting new features.

 

All the lists are back on track - with a twist.  Can-news, can-events and
can-exhibitions have been consolidated into one list called can-notices.
Make sure your organisation's activities are posted to
can-notices at collectionsaustralia.net .  Can-talk is still open for business
for your discussion and questions, and can-jobs will continue to operate for
employment related posts.  To subscribe to any of the lists:

The CAN website looks better than ever, with new wider page designs for
easier navigation and optimised graphics www.collectionsaustralia.net

it's a good time to check and update your content.  CAN's new templates now
have more spaces for images, and your news, events and exhibitions now
appear on your organisation's page.  There is also a link to a google map
for each organisation.  If you need a username and password, contact us
enquiries at collectionsaustralia.net . 

 

More features are on their way in the coming weeks, so watch out for the CAN
Outreach blog, the CAN publishing tool, new collections online, and a new,
faster, more accurate search on CAN Collections.
