National Awards for Excellence

Heritage Interpretation

Have you been involved in any wonderful interpretive projects lately? Perhaps you have seen some great work and could encourage a colleague?

 

IAA's annual National Awards for Excellence in Heritage Interpretation recognises interpreters across Australia, members or non members, who have crafted excellent heritage interpretation projects.

 

Multi Award opportunities are available for excellence in interpretive practice.

The award categories include:

  a.. Project 
  b.. Exhibition 
  c.. Panel(s) 
  d.. Publication(s), 
  e.. Video/CDROM/DVD 
  f.. Website 
  g.. Event 
  h.. Interpretive skills training program 
  i.. Guided walks, activities & talks 
  j.. Performances
 

Award for a project by a young interpreter - under 25 - in any category above.

 

Additionally, a "Best of Excellent Award" will be selected by the judges from the Excellence in Interpretation Practice category winners.

 

The Awards recognise all projects where excellence in interpretive process is achieved. This is regardless of budget, based on the ANZECC Business Model for Best Practice in Interpretive Projects.

 

Help promote the best in interpretation for this year's IAA National Awards for Excellence in Heritage Interpretation.
