Colleagues,
The Disasters ACT Network sponsors two courses a year on disaster preparedness (see http://www.anbg.gov.au/disact/activities-training.html ). The next of these will be run next May and organised for DISACT by the National Archives of Australia with Art & Archival Pty Ltd (http://www.artandarchival.com.au/ ) as the course provider. Notification of this training will be posted to can-events.
Conservation training is available at Melbourne Uni (as well as art authentication, see http://www.culturalconservation.unimelb.edu.au/courses/ ) and in the newly instituted Bachelor of Cultural Heritage Conservation course at the Uni of Canberra http://www.canberra.edu.au/courses-units/ug/bchc
