2008 NETS Victoria symposium for curators

This two day conference will focus on the notion of collaboration while
exploring relationships between curators and artists, the politics of
identity and authorship, international and cross-cultural exchanges, and
the challenges of collaborating from a distance. Featuring over 20
speakers, site visits and an evening function, make sure you don't miss
out on what promises to be a significant convention for both emerging
and senior arts workers from around Australia.

Not only will symposium participants have the opportunity to join
colleagues for a rare professional development and networking
opportunity, but courtesy of our Event Partner, Melbourne International
Arts Festival, participants will also be able to experience Melbourne's
premier art event from a unique perspective and take advantage of
special offers for this symposium. We would also like to thank the
support of the National Gallery of Victoria, Public Galleries
Association of Victoria, Art Monthly Australia, Arts Victoria and the
Australia Council for the Arts who have enabled us to bring you this
