The Yarra Ranges Regional Museum has been conducting a review of its
social history collection. A number of larger items have been
de-accessioned from the collection because they do not meet our
collection guidelines.  We would like to offer the following items to
other collecting institutions. Some items may be suitable for handling
collections or set-dressing:
 
Television, Healing brand, c. mid 1950s
Washing machine, early electric, complete with mangle, c. mid 1950s
Powers' Accounting Machine (punch card data tabulating), early 20th C.
School bench, early 20th C
Emery wheel, rust
Hospital trolley (fits over patients' bed), c. 1940s
Church pew, wood
Church pew, cast iron and wood
Rubbish bin, gal iron
Gramophone player in large wooden cabinet, c 1930s
Record player, home made, valves, Collaro deck, Universal motor
Wash tub, aluminium
Hip bath, metal
Horse harness (poor condition)
Horse collar (poor condition)
Storage containers, set of 3, metal
Camp stretcher, canvas and wood
Telephone pieces
Suitcases x 4, c. 1950s-1960s
Typewriters x 2
White plastic beauty case
Sewing machine, treadle, Wotan Original-Gegauf, Classe 292
Sewing machine, Gritzner serial no. 2484697
Fur stole x 2
Edwardian overmantle (poor condition)
