In February 2009, we will be offering three intensive short courses in
photographic materials conservation:

1.	
	Preventive Care of Photographs and Film (9-13 February);
2.	
	Photographic Materials and Techniques (16-20 February); and
3.	
	Duplication, Archiving and Preservation (23-27 February)

We have been fortunate to secure a leading international expert in
photographic conservation, Clara Von Waldthausen, to deliver the
courses, which combine both the theory and practice of photographic
materials conservation, and the scientific and technical aspects of
photographic materials deterioration and conservation. Clara's depth and
range of experience working with major international institutions
combined with her impressive qualifications, research and publications
in the field offer a unique opportunity to develop specialist expertise
or gain new knowledge in photographic materials conservation.

Each course is 5 days and costs $900 + GST. It is possible to attend all
three, or to select one or two, depending on interest, time and
availability.
