Hello
I am doing research into the provision of online resources by collection
organisations.
Do you know of any Australian collecting organisations that are using
wikis creatively to develop community engagement in local history and
heritage?
If you know of any examples it would be great if you could email the web
link to me: shevaun.oneill at environment.gov.au

Here are some overseas examples :-
UK
Science Museum http://objectwiki.sciencemuseum.org.uk/wiki/Home
Festiniog Railway Heritage Group
http://www.frheritage.org.uk/wiki/Home_Page
Amersham Museum http://amershammuseum.pbwiki.com/
National Archives http://yourarchives.nationalarchives.gov.uk/index.php
USA
Minnesota Historical Society http://www.placeography.org
<http://www.placeography.org/>

Thanks

Shevaun
