Hi can-talkers,

I am heading to Western Australia next month for the MAWA conference, and
would like to hold a "Collections and the Web" seminar in Perth for all CAN
Partners before I go to Bunbury. I have a venue booked, and some speakers,
but unfortunately the availability of these two things doesn't quite line
up. So I am putting out a call in the hopes that someone can help me here,
as time is running out.

I'm looking for a venue in Perth, easy to access, for the afternoon of
Tuesday 9th September. We will require internet access (we will be showing
websites), a screen and a projector. The audience will be somewhere around
30-45 people, collection sector volunteers and professionals. I usually run
these seminars free of charge, so that as many people as possible can
attend. The speakers are pretty good (can't tell you who in case I can't
pull this off), and a similar event in Sydney was very well attended and
received.

If you are able to assist me in securing a venue in your cultural
organisation, local government or University, please get in touch. The rest
of you, watch this space to see who saves CAN . . . and who the speakers
are.

Kind regards,

Joy
