2008 IMAGinE AWARDS DEADLINE EXTENDED 

 

IMAGinE your museum or gallery's achievements recognised along with the
best the state has to offer. IMAGinE a glamorous awards ceremony at the
Art Gallery of NSW. Now IMAGinE that you have three extra weeks to
nominate!

 

The deadline for the inaugural 2008 IMAGinE awards (Inspiring Museums
and Galleries in Excellence) has been extended until 31 August 2008. 

 

Nominations have been flooding in and M&G NSW are delighted by the
response from the museums, galleries and cultural institutions in NSW
and the ACT which have already submitted their nominations. We can't
wait to see more fantastic public programs, inspiring individuals and
wonderful organisations - both big and small - being nominated. So make
sure to use these extra few weeks to get those nominations in!

 

The IMAGinE awards will be presented on Saturday 25 October 2008 at the
Art Gallery of NSW in Sydney. They are an initiative of Museums &
Galleries NSW, Museums Australia (NSW & ACT), and the Regional Galleries
Association of NSW.

 

The 2008 IMAGinE awards are sponsored by International Art Services,
Mental Media and Yellowtail Wines.
