[can-talk] Seeking museum barrier alarm advice

Hello all,

 

I am seeking advice or recommendations for discreet barrier-type alarm units
for a particular open-display object in a small museum. I imagine some kind
of infrared alarm will be suitable to form a barrier across a small room. 

 

It will be used in conjunction with a physical barrier, so it is intended as
an alarm of last resort! I am having trouble identifying exactly what I need
amongst the vast array of similar products available, I welcome anyone's
experience with such gadgets and their recommendations.
