Hi

The National Film & Sound Archive has established Sounds of Australia, the
National Registry of Recorded Sound to publicly highlight the importance of
sound recordings to our history and heritage. I'd like to invite members of
the can-talk discussion list to share their passion and knowledge by
nominating recordings for the first public listings on the registry to be
announced in June this year. Recordings are eligible if they are at least
20 years old and made in Australia or by Australians. Nominations close on
31st March. To find out more about the registry, and to nominate, please go
