CHAD FORD - SKATE PARK DESIGNER

FLOOR TALK

Sunday 26 August at 3pm

 

Chad Ford is a skater and designer with F Beat Productions, creators the
Bondi skate park, Bowl-A-Rama, which opened in February 2005. Chad will
join us on Sunday 26 August to discuss some of the considerations for
the Bondi skate park and how he incorporated the needs of stakeholders
into his design. Chad has designed skating facilities in Europe, Asia,
South America and Australia.

 

The skaters feature prominently in Rex Dupain's Bondi photographs and
clearly occupy an important position within the culture of the beach.
Bondi is more than just sand and surf but is also the gathering place
for other disparate groups including skateboard riders.
