[can-talk] Conservation of marble

Dear Can-talkers,
 
We  have a marble plaque commemorating the rescue of survivors from the
Admella Shipwreck of August 1859 that requires conservation prior to the
150th celebrations in 2009.
 
The marble plaque has been encased in a concrete border (which we hope
to have removed) and has become stained over years of outside exposure
to the elements (and dirt).
 
Any suggestions of someone in Victoria who may be able to assist with
this project?
