A FREE networking session on museum/gallery shops and merchandising
Brought to you by Museum & Gallery Services Qld and Brisbane's Living
Heritage Network

Friday 29 June,  2:30pm - 5:30pm

Interested in sourcing products on a small budget, building relationships
with local practitioners, theming products and catering appropriately to
different markets? Join in a FREE networking session for those currently
involved in museum merchandising and those looking to get involved. Guest
speakers include: Anna Meredith, Creative Development Manager, Museum of
Brisbane (MoB), and Leonie Peasey, Retail and Functions Manager, The
Workshops Rail Museum.  Take the opportunity to share what's working for
your organisation, the positive strategies that you have discovered and to
bring along any burning questions you may have about merchandising for
museums.  Amongst those presenting positive strategies for merchandising
will be Matthew Oliver, Manager - The Library Shop, State Library of
Queensland, and Colleen Pearson, Acting Retail Manager, Explorer Shop,
Queensland Museum South Bank. 

Followed by wine and nibbles, this will be a great opportunity to meet
others and to grow your network. RSVP is essential by 25 June.
