The NSW Migration Heritage Centre relies on the internet as its primary
medium for communication. The Centre has a particular interest for
practising historians because it:

*	commissions a number of heritage studies from professional
historians each year;
*	provides a valuable resource for historians who are researching
aspects of the migrant experience in NSW; and
*	is an exemplary model showing how the internet can be used to
convey historical information.

PHA (NSW) has arranged an evening seminar for members to learn about the
Centre's activities and to provide practical advice on how to set up
your own history website, whether for yourself or a client. The speakers
will be John Petersen, Manager of the Migration Heritage Centre, and
Annette Loudon, who is responsible for the Centre's website.

The NSW Migration Heritage Centre is pleased to welcome a new member to
the team, Leah Domanski, as our part-time Administration Assistant. Leah
brings a wealth of knowledge to the position through her previous role
at the Arts Law Centre.
