Museums & Galleries NSW and the Museum of Sydney (Historic Houses Trust of NSW) present DIRECTORS FORUM - Times of Change: New Developments Join leading museum and gallery Director's as they discuss the challenges and issues currently faced by their institutions and provide pointers on responding to both sudden and planned change, positioning for strength and thriving in a changing landscape. Museums and galleries in Australia often operate under a climate of major change. This seminar will showcase a selection of state and national museums and galleries that are undergoing significant operational or physical change and how change is being managed. Chaired by Andrea Stretton, arts and literary journalist, this is a rare opportunity to listen to some of Australia's foremost museum and gallery professionals discuss their current challenges, and look at how each is learning to adapt to their changing environment.
