Collections Australia Network is pleased to announce that our new site
update is ready for user testing.  This new-look, new-feel CAN, incorporates
the suggestions of many of our users and Partners.  The new site will be
coming online shortly, and we're confident that the improvements we've made
will be of benefit to our Partners and sector colleagues. 

If you are a CAN Partner or regular user, we'd like to know what you think
of the new site update.  If you would like to have an advanced viewing of
the site and participate in our user testing, then please contact me at CAN
and I'll send you some details.

Unfortunately the CAN admin area will be unavailable to Partners for a
little while longer.  For those of you wishing to modify your CAN content,
we apologise for the delay. If the matter is urgent, please contact us and
we will make arrangements to assist you.  All CAN we pages  will remain
online for viewing and the discussion lists will not be affected.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank Mark Clayton for all his hard
work and dedication during the AMOL/CAN redevelopment.  We wish him all the
best in his new role as the Museum Director of the Tauranga Museum in New
Zealand.
