<P class=MsoBodyText style="MARGIN: 6pt 0cm 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">The Audience Development and Public Programs section provides integrated </SPAN><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'">audience research, public programming, event management and evaluation expertise to plan, develop, deliver and continually improve innovative interpretive programs at the Museum, throughout <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Australia</st1:place></st1:country-region>, and through technology-based outreach activities. These programs encourage core and access audiences to engage with the Museum’s themes, collections, research and exhibitions in a variety of ways.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoBodyText style="MARGIN: 6pt 0cm 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'">The Audience Development and Public Programs Coordinator contributes to the delivery of interpretive programs for a range of audiences; assists with business planning and the development of programs; ensures that information about public programs is communicated effectively to other parts of the Museum; coordinates operational aspects of program delivery; and monitors audience responses.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoBodyText style="MARGIN: 6pt 0cm 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'">The Audience Development and Public Programs Coordinator e<SPAN style="LAYOUT-GRID-MODE: line">nsures that he/she has sufficient supervision, instruction and equipment to undertake his/her work safely and that employees are provided with sufficient supervision, instruction and equipment to enable them to perform their duties safely.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></SPAN></P>
