Title                Curators and Assistant Curator
Level               APS 4, 5, and 6 – Several Ongoing Positions
Salary             $50,249 to $68,461 per annum plus superannuation.
 
 
Role
The Curatorial section is responsible for the conceptual development of
the Museum’s collections, research, exhibitions and public programs. It
has three thematic areas – Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
cultures and histories; Australian History and Society since 1788; and
People’s interaction with the Environment.  This is a great opportunity
for potential candidates across a broad spectrum of curatorial
experience and professional disciplines to apply for positions at the
APS 4, 5 and 6 Levels.  Several curatorial positions will be filled from
this recruitment exercise immediately, and merit lists will be created
to fill future vacancies that may arise over coming months.
