EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
MUSEUMS AUSTRALIA (VICTORIA)

Museums Australia is the national professional association for the
museums and galleries sector. The Executive Director of the Victorian
Branch is responsible for strategic and operational management of the
Branch, which provides membership and industry development services and
representation.

Applications for the position of Executive Director are invited from
people with strong strategic experience in the cultural heritage field
and highly developed communication and management skills.

Key Selection Criteria:


*	Demonstrated high level of ability to manage and deliver a
diverse program of activities on time and within budget.
*	Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
*	Demonstrated financial management and fundraising skills.
*	Demonstrated experience in working with a management committee.
*	Demonstrated personnel management skills.
*	An understanding of current issues within the museum sector in
Victoria and Australia. 
*	Demonstrated administrative ability.

The position is full-time and some out of hours work is required.
Salary is $55,000 pa plus superannuation contributions.
