Expressions of Interest for an independent review of the operation of
Beechworth's Robert O'Hara Burke Museum

 

Indigo Shire Council invites expressions of interest from suitably
qualified independent consultants or museum professionals to undertake a
review of the operation of Beechworth's Robert O'Hara Burke Museum.

 

The project would include a review of the services provided, the
organisational structure and staffing requirements, the vision and
working action plans, and the fees and charges taking into account
Indigo Shire Council's financial limitations, responsibility as
custodians of the collection, and priority for quality heritage tourism
experiences.

 

The successful consultant will have an in-depth understanding of the
operation of museums, particularly in a regional environment.
