The Australian National Maritime Museum at Darling Harbour has a vacancy
as follows:
 
Accounts Officer-Financial Services Section

APS Level 3
$42,457 - $46,741 per annum 
Non-ongoing vacancy from 17 March  to 11 July 2008.

Duties  of this vacancy are: Assist in the day to day financial
operations of the Museum.  Perform a variety of accounting tasks at data
entry level including accounts payable and receivable work and
purchasing functions.  Accuracy and timeliness in performing these
duties are of the highest priority.  Work closely with the Accounts
Supervisor to ensure that all tasks are co-ordinated with the overall
goals of the section on a daily basis and performed in accordance with
the Museum's financial procedures.  Liaise with clients to ensure
accounting functions are performed efficiently and that all necessary
follow-up action is accomplished speedily.
 
Eligibility:  Applicants for vacancies at the ANMM must be Australian
citizens.  Applications may be accepted from permanent residents who
