The Australian National Maritime Museum at Darling Harbour has a full-time ongoing vacancy as follows:
 
Assistant Venue Manager
Marketing Section
APS Level 3
$42,457 - $46,741 per annum 
 
Duties of this vacancy are:  Assist the Venue Manager in all aspects of the museum's venue hire operation including daily administration and database management.  Assist in the marketing and promotion of the museum's venue operation and possess experience in organising functions and special events in a cultural venue.  Demonstrate good communication skills and ability to deal with clients enquiries.  Some weekend and evening work essential.
 
Eligibility:  Applicants for vacancies at the ANMM must be Australian citizens.  Applications may be accepted from permanent residents who have applied for citizenship.
