Under general direction the Loans Coordinator administers the Memorial's Loans Program, liaises with both internal and external staff and service providers to organise the despatch and receipt of loans, ensuring appropriate documentation is maintained. The work involves: assisting in the development and implementation of associated policies and procedures; generating loan agreements; estimating fees; arranging insurance; overseeing storage and movement; and performing appropriate stocktakes of objects, of internal and external loans.

Under general direction undertake mixed accessions work. The work involves: communication with donors and internal clients; accessioning of mixed collections donations; entering donor and item information on the Memorial’s collection management data base (MICA); collecting information on provenance and, in consultation with curators, assessing the significance of material on offer with reference to the Collection Development Plan; and assisting with movement and storage of collection items.
