Responsibilities will include assessing the grant applications for conservation/repair and collections management projects. The Project Officer will also undertake significant assessments of objects and collections for the Victorian Heritage Register. They will provide high level advice on individual projects, policy and standards, and engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders Heritage Planner (VPSG4) Ongoing - full time Reference: VG/DPCD/PLG/14995 The Heritage Planner, Local Government Services, works with local government and the community to provide heritage advice and assistance for the protection of heritage places through the planning system and under the Heritage Act 1995. The position also provides authoritative advice on heritage matters within Heritage Victoria, DPCD and other State and local government stakeholders. Conservation Officer - Heritage Permits (VPSG4) Ongoing - full time Reference: VG/DPCD/PLG/11062 As a Conservation Officer within the Heritage Permits Unit of Heritage Victoria you would be responsible for assessing heritage permit applications for works to places on the Victorian Heritage Register. You will provide high quality advice concerning the Heritage Act 1995 and the principles of heritage conservation to a wide variety of stakeholders. Conservation Officer - Heritage Permits (VPSG3) Ongoing - full time Reference: VG/DPCD/PLG/802755 Heritage Assessments Coordinator (VPSG4) Fixed term - full time Reference: VG/DPCD/PLG/11257 The Assessments Coordinator within the Assessments unit, Heritage Victoria, ensures that the statutory requirements of the registration processes of the Heritage Act 1995 are met. The Assessments unit assists in the recommendation of places and objects for inclusion in the Victorian Heritage Register. The unit also develops policies, procedures and guidelines for compliance with the provisions of the Heritage Act 1995 . Intern - Heritage (VPSG2) Fixed term - full time Reference: VG/DPCD/PLG/801131 The Intern Position within Heritage Victoria is a fixed-term entry level position, suitable for a recent graduate in a heritage related discipline, or an established specialist wishing to gain exposure to heritage practice.
