Collection Registration Officer (History & Technology)

Salary $36,581 per annum (Plus 9% Superannuation) 

 

Help shape the future of Victoria's great museums.

 

Encompassing Scienceworks, the Immigration Museum, Melbourne Museum, the
Royal Exhibition Building and IMAX Theatre, Museum Victoria is an
integral part of Victoria's cultural life.

 

A full time position is available in the History & Technology
Department, for a Collection Registration Officer.  The position is
fixed term to October 2008.

 

The successful applicant will be required to register and image capture
objects from the collections, using the EMu database system.

 

The applicant will be required to have knowledge or experience in
collection management and in particular documentation and databases.

 

Applicants must be prepared to work at a number of different Museum
Victoria campuses.
