The Australian National Maritime Museum at Darling Harbour has a vacancy
as follows:
 
Curator, Post-Federation Immigration
APS Level 5
$52,778 - $55,964 per annum 
This is a non-ongoing vacancy  expected from 29/01/08 for 6 months.

Duties  of this vacancy are: Develop, document, research and catalogue,
under direction, the museum's collection related to the history of
post-Federation immigration.  As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the
curator will develop an existing program and exhibition brief on child
migration to Australia and maintain existing links with culturally
diverse communities on program development.  
Eligibility:  Applicants for vacancies at the ANMM must be Australian
citizens.  Applications may be accepted from permanent residents who
have applied for citizenship.
