Manager, Special Projects. Museums & Galleries NSW

 

Museums & Galleries NSW works to develop and support galleries and
museums through programs and services, including touring exhibitions.

 

We are seeking a talented and self-motivated person to join a dynamic
team within the Programs and Services unit. Your prime responsibility
will be developing and managing Special Projects aligned with the
organisation's strategic plan and goals, in particular a major touring
exhibition and visual arts development projects.

 

You will contribute to a range of other activities which support MGnsw's
gallery and museum development initiatives  You will work with a range
of regional and metropolitan cultural organisations and maintain contact
with peers throughout NSW and beyond. You will enjoy working
collaboratively but equally, independently. You possess excellent
communication skills and project or event management experience,
including project planning, budgeting and contract management.
Experience in galleries, museums or visual arts projects would be highly
regarded.

 

The position is part time, three days per week. Salary is pro rata
$55,000-$60,000 plus super and leave loadings.
