Hours of work : 22.5 hours a week (3 days a week)

NAVA currently has a new position available for an Artist Business  
Project Manager. This position will lead NAVA’s contribution in the  
development of the artists’ business training website in partnership  
with the Australian Business Arts Foundation (AbaF), with the  
objective of producing a clearly positioned website that is a portal  
to all non-accredited business training for artists around Australia.  
This site will target visual artists and craftspeople who are looking  
to increase the commercial opportunities for their products and  
services and improve their professional and business management skills.

Main areas of responsibility:
• Developing and maintaining site content
• Negotiating relationship with training content
providers
• Liaising with AbaF over site development
• Managing the relationship with AbaF and other
future collaborations
• Promoting the site to potential users

Experience and skills required
Essential:
• Experience in the development of training and learning content
• Familiarity with website development
• Proven internet based information delivery skills
• Excellent communication, writing and editing skills
• Excellent planning and coordinating skills with ability to meet  
tight deadlines
• Knowledge and understanding of the Australian visual arts sector

Desirable:
• Project financial management experience
• Experience of working with the development of promotional campaigns

Note:
• Short term part time contract with expectation of 2 years but  
possibility of continuation.
• Some travel may be required.
