Paul Memmott discusses the function, symbolism and meaning of Indigenous
architecture that responds and assimilate to the environment. The
architectural practices of Indigenous Australians before European
contact, classical Aboriginal ethno-architecture of the 19th and 20th
Centuries, Outstation and contemporary architecture by Indigenous
architects is showcased.
