Call for Nominations: Victorian Museum Awards - CLOSING MAY 23

All public museums located within Victoria are eligible for nomination
in the 2008 Victorian Museum Awards. These awards reflect the growing
appreciation of the critical role that museums play in our communities.

The 5 Award categories are:

Organisations Award for Excellence

o     Click Systems Volunteer Museum Award 

o     Archival Survival Museum Award (paid staff of 1-7) 

o     Museums Australia (Victoria) Award (paid staff of 7 or more) 

Individual Achievement Award

o     MA (Vic) Individual Achievement Award (Volunteer) 

o     MA (Vic) Individual Achievement Award (Paid) 

Nominations must be received by 5.00 pm on Friday 23 May 2008. Winners
of the Victorian Museum Awards will be announced at a formal
presentation on Thursday 24 July 2008 at the State Library of Victoria.
