Greetings School Archivists,

You are invited to the Term 3 Network Meeting of the Australian Society
of Archivists (ASA) School Archives Special Interest Group (SIG),
Victorian Branch.

The aim of the Network Meetings is to allow fellow school archivists to
meet informally and view special aspects of the host school.

There will also be a "book club" type discussion about "Arrangement and
Description, Part 1".

Where: Strathcona Baptist Girls' Grammar School
Date: Wednesday 27 August 2008
Time: 9.45am (Registration); 10am - 11.30am (including Morning Tea)
Closing Date: Friday 15 August

AGM Update
For those who were unable to attend our AGM at Korowa Anglican Girls'
School in May, there have been the following changes to the SIG
Committee.
Judith Gibson (Caulfield Grammar School) is the new Convenor, replacing
Luisa Moscato (Emmanuel College, North Altona).
New Committee Members:
  Br Brian Davis (St Patrick's College, Ballarat);
  Trevor Hart (Eltham College; Camberwell Grammar School; Ruyton Girls'
School);
  Sandra Turner (Korowa Anglican Girls' School) Continuing Committee
Members:
  Lisl Bladin (Methodist Ladies' College);
  Brigid Cooper (Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School; Thomas Carr
College);
  Jane Dyer (Presbyterian Ladies' College);
  Judith Gibson (Caulfield Grammar School)
  Luisa Moscato (Emmanuel College, North Altona);
  Steve Stefanopoulos (Loreto Mandeville Hall) Thanks to Robin Scott
(Loreto Sister, Ballarat) who stands down from the Committee and from
her role as Secretary.
