Museums are full of objects with stories to tell. Can the objects
themselves be regarded as evidence of the past and, if so, how might we
use them to create new interpretations of Australia’s past?

international and national keynote speakers from a range of disciplines
including:

  Anthropology, New York University

• Ms Margaret Anderson, Director of the History Trust
  of South Australia

• Dr Mike Smith, Senior Research Fellow, Centre for Historical
  Research, National Museum of Australia
