Live performance of Australia's best-loved radio drama

 

Blue Hills was Australia's longest running radio serial, its popularity
stemming from its representations of the joys and challenges of real
Australians through characters such as Granny Bishop and the Gordon
family. Broadcast twice a day, four days a week from 1949 to 1976, the
5975 episodes were written by the remarkable Gwen Meredith.

 

Join us as we re-create the ABC sound studio of the 1950s and 60s and
performing arts company, A Bunch of Posers, re-enact six episodes from
this seminal series.
