NAIDOC 50 Years: Looking Forward, Looking Blak

 

Waverley Council and Sydney Aboriginal and Oceanic Art Fair (SAoAF) are
hosting a series of free events celebrating the history, culture and the
achievements of Aboriginals and Torres Straits Islanders.

 

Experience didgeridoo and dance performances by Yidaki, Indigenous artists
demonstrations by Chris Edwards, face painting, arts and craft stalls and
storytelling, bush tucker cooking and tastings by Thullii Dreaming, all day
performances by renowned electronic didge player Charlie McMahon plus a
special performance at 1pm with Cellist Nicole Dobosi from the Swan Lake
Orchestra.
